Pais Apartment

The project involved a complete overhaul of a 1800 Sq.Ft apartment for an elderly couple in Bangalore. Several structural interventions were introduced to increase size of the smaller rooms along with changes to the entry and living room walls to allow for a more open floor plan. The newly reconfigured space was punctuated with a large french window, bringing a flood of natural light into the interiors. Warm and earthy tones infused new life into the previously cold and dreary home. Old furniture was redesigned to look contemporary and blend with the new. The bathrooms were retiled to add freshness and the kitchen was made larger and redesigned to improve efficiency. The outdoor garden was given a makeover with a clean line of plants, deck flooring and informal dining areas to entertain guests.
